Our primary written briefing service covers the fortnight ahead period for Europe. The forecast horizon covered is current week, front week, and from Wednesday to Friday, the following week (week+2) as well.
The briefing contains written commentary from one of our energy meteorologists on the latest forecast evolution. Firstly, a headline and main changes from the previous briefing are outlined, then there is a more in-depth discussion on the models, our view and the risks. Coloured maps, representing our view of the forecast in Europe are displayed for each relevant week, coded by the the position of that parameter vs the climatology. Movements from the previous forecast are also shown on these maps. For each week there are also summary charts on the latest ECMWF and GFS ensemble model output, as well as their revelant deltas to the previous run to highlight changes.
This forecast is available via Trading Weather and is emailed directly to you 3x daily with the first released by 7am, the second by 10am and final about 13:30 (all UK time).

Anomaly maps are shown for our view for countries across Europe and each of the main weather parameters relevant to the energy markets. Below this, a summary of the key changes from the previous briefing is displayed, followed by a more in-depth discussion on the models, teleconnections, analogues and our view, with images where appropriate.
